We are TAYER.lab — a costume atelier in Prague
We dress films, music videos, stage shows, photo shoots and gymnasts — and people who simply want one garment made exactly for them.
We are a small team that loves a difficult brief: a gown that has to gallop on horseback, a leotard that has to last a whole season, a couture dress that must look perfect the moment the camera rolls.

For film & screen
Give us a sketch, a reference or just a mood. We build the pattern, sew the costume, fit it — and stay on set if you need us. For Sofie Kovářová’s video Bude líp we made a red gown that had to ride at a gallop. It did.
For stage & sport
Stage costumes for singers and shows, and competition leotards for rhythmic gymnastics — for one gymnast or a whole team. Our Lilies leotards were worn through a full season, all the way to the Czech national championship.
For photo shoots
We sew looks for editorials and campaigns — and we come to the shoot as your wardrobe department: everything steamed and packed the day before, rails on location, dressing on set, care and repair afterwards. That is how we worked on the shoot later published in Vogue Italia and L’Officiel Paris.

One garment, made to your measurements — or a favourite piece altered and brought back to life.
For brands & designers
You bring the idea, we make the pattern, the prototype and a small run. First samples, mini capsules and experiments are welcome.
Props & rental
We make character accessories and props, and rent costumes for productions and shoots.
How we work
Old-school tailoring, modern tools and the discipline of film production. We choose the fabrics ourselves — many come from Italian mills — and we test, adjust and refine every model before it leaves the atelier.

Natália Yakunina
Founder & creative director
Natália is a visual artist and photographer. She has exhibited internationally since 2017 — in projects connected with the Venice Biennale, in London, New York and across Europe — and her eye for image, light and composition shapes everything we make.
Before fashion she spent more than twenty years in IT, strategic marketing and project management. At TAYER.lab she looks after the idea, the brand and the people we work with.
Serhii Frolov
Head of production & chief pattern maker
Serhii is the reason our garments fit. More than 15 years in bespoke tailoring and pattern making, plus a degree in chemistry — he understands materials as well as he understands construction.
Complex models, individual patterns and prototypes are his territory, and every piece that leaves the atelier passes through his hands.
